Day 1 – London to Beijing

Day 2 – Beijing (北京)

Day 3 – Badaling (八達嶺)

Day 4 – Beijing to Taipei (北京 –> 台北)

Day 5 –  Taipei to Tainan (台北–>台南)

Day 6 – Tainan (台南)

  • Unsuccessfully tried to rent scooters
  • Lunch DanZai Noodles (度小月担仔面)
  • Anping Fort and Treehouse (安平古堡, 安平樹屋)
  • Snacked: Anping Tofu Bean Jelly (安平豆花)
  • Garden Night Market (花園夜市)
  • Dinner: Eel Efu Noodles and miscellaneous eats at night market (鱔魚意麵)

Day 7 – Tainan to Taipei to Hualien (台南 –> 台北 –> 花蓮)

  • High speed train back to Taipei
  • High speed train to Hualien
Day 8 – Hualien (花蓮)

Day 9 – Hualien to Taipei (花蓮 — > 台北)

Day 10 – Taipei (台北)

  • Laundromat hunting in Ximending (西門町)
  • Lunch: Sichuan in Ximending (西門町)
  • GuangHua Digital Plaza (光華數位新天地/光華商場)
  • Taipei East District shopping (臺北東區)
  • Dinner: Quick Stir-Fry in East District

Day 11 – Taipei (台北)

  • Lunch: Grilled Meat
  • Taipei 101
  • Family time while Waffles went Camera shopping at GuangHua
  • Dinner: ShiDa Night Market for Teppanyaki (師大夜市)
  • What I ate in Taipei

Day 12  – Taipei to Beijing to XiAn (台北 –> 北京 –>西安)

Day 13  – XiAn (西安)

Day 14 – XiAn (西安)

Day 15  – XiAn to Beijing (西安 –>北京)

  • High Speed Train to Beijing
  • Dinner hotpot in Beijing

Day 16  – Beijing to Paris

  • Flight left Beijing at 1:25pm
